Rachel Thomas
I am a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist with 6 years of experience of working in the NHS, student mental health and charity sector. I became a Counselling Psychologist after 20 years working in education. I have a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and I am a member of the British Psychological Society.
I am an integrative practitioner trained in Psychodynamic, CBT and Person centred approaches and draw from Compassion focused therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness techniques and Trauma focused CBT (TF-CBT).
I work in a trauma informed way and tailor the sessions to meet your individual needs. Whatever you are facing we can work together to explore and understand your emotions, identify and understand patterns, develop coping strategies and build resilience.
